New Zealand born singer Aaradhna (Ah-Rad- Nah)delivers her brand new album, Brown Girl.
The album was written by Aaradhna and produced entirely by Jeff Dynamite of Brooklyn based Truth & Soul Records (Aloe Blacc, Adele, Lady, Lee Fields & The Expressions).
According to Aaradhna, Brown Girl is a collection of songs about love, heartbreak and dealing with life in general. It’s her boldest body of work to date.
“I’m more than the color of my skin,” she says. “This new album is all me, like a slow burning incense stick, it burns slow but leaves behind a scent that’s 100% authentic.”
Aaradhna is a 32-year-old soul singer with a long list of accolades on her résumé. First signed to a record label at the age of 16, she earned two no. 1 singles and five Top 10 hits all before she turned 22.
In 2013, Aaradhna reached new heights by winning “Album Of The Year” at the New Zealand Music Awards for the critically lauded and commercially successful Treble & Reverb album.
