Alicia Keys has more music to share with fans. While it’s only been six months since she released her sixth album, Here, the singer is already in the studio cooking up her next project. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the singer explained that she is stepping down as a coach on NBC’s The Voice to focus on her new music.
“My next body of work is already in the works,” Keys said in a red carpet interview. “I’m excited. I can’t wait for you to hear new music. So, that’s one of the reasons why I won’t be able to come back next season.”
Here was released last November and includes her A$AP Rocky-assisted single “Blended Family.” The album debuted at no. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 54,600 equivalent units sold.
