Tone Stith has parted ways with RCA Records and has landed a new deal with independent label MNRK Music Group. He joins a roster that includes fellow R&B acts Elijah Blake, Jaz Karis, Shantel May, Bathe, and others.
With his new label home, the multitalented entertainer has released his new single “Shut Up.” He co-produced the irresistibly funky groove with Brody Brown (Adele, Bruno Mars) and Kenneth “KP” Paige (Eric Bellinger, Keke Palmer).
On “Shut Up,” Stith silences all nonsense that comes his way and refocuses his energy on what truly matters. It channels a level of frustration, driven by musicality reminiscent of the way Michael Jackson let off steam in songs like “Scream” with Janet Jackson and “Leave Me Alone.”
“Shut up / I don’t feel like listening, and I don’t feel like talkin’ too much / World goin’ crazy, baby, everybody think they know somethin’,” Stith sings.

Speaking on “Shut Up,” Stith notes, “This is me evolving. I’ve lived, I’ve learned, and I’ve grown—and now I’m putting all of that into the music.”
“Shut Up” is the first single from Stith’s upcoming album, scheduled for release in 2026. It will follow his 2023 EP P.O.V., released via RCA Records. The project included the singles “Girls Like You” and “I Need You.”
Since releasing P.O.V., Stith has collaborated with several artists, including Jaz Karis (“Met You at a Bar”), Eric Bellinger (“Top Tier”), Shantel May (“5 Minutes”), ELHAE (“More Remix”), and most recently Camper (“Waiting On You”). The latter song is a top 10 hit on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart, peaking at No. 4 so far.
