Chris Brown‘s latest single, “It Depends,” featuring Bryson Tiller, has received its first certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The Nico Baran and RIOTUSA production is now certified gold, with 500,000 equivalent units sold in the U.S. since it was released July 25.

The track, which samples Usher‘s “Nice & Slow,” was released ahead of Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX World Tour, which concluded Oct. 16.

Speaking of Usher, the R&B superstar joined Brown and Tiller on the “It Depends (Remix),” released last Friday (Oct. 17). It has already garnered over 1.1 million streams on Spotify alone.

Brown’s latest RIAA award is another addition to his extensive collection. In June, he received over 20 new awards, including 8x platinum plaques for “Forever” and “Loyal.”

Before that, in May, he earned a diamond certification for “Look at Me Now” featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, which marked his second following his Drake-featured “No Guidance.”

As for Tiller, the trapsoul artist collected nearly 30 new RIAA certifications earlier this month. His immortal hit “Don’t” was certified 15x platinum, which made history as the highest-certified R&B single of all time.

Circling back to “It Depends,” it’s the follow-up to Brown’s era-launching single “Holy Blindfold.” At the time of this writing, “It Depends” is No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in its 12th week, with a No. 29 peak. It’s also No. 1 on the Rhythmic Airplay and Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts.
