After a five-year hiatus, Justin Timberlake is ready to embark on a new era.
The 36-year-old singer has announced his fifth studio album, Man of the Woods, will arrive on February 2.
“This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I’ve ever written, where I’m from,” says the Memphis native.
The release date comes just two days before Timberlake’s highly anticipated performance at the 52nd Super Bowl Halftime Show presented by Pepsi. It will be Timberlake’s first time performing at the Super Bowl since 2004, when he joined Janet Jackson on stage and left her topless.
The lead single from Man of the Woods will arrive this Friday, Jan. 5. The album will feature production from Timberlake’s longtime collaborators Pharrell and Timbaland.
Man of the Woods will follow Timberlake’s 2013 efforts The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2, which were both produced primarily by Timbaland.
