Fantasia shows off her new look in her video for “Lose To Win” off her upcoming album Side Effects of You.
The video shows an emotional Fantasia dealing with heartbreak.
In a recent interview with AXS Live, Fantasia discussed her new look and sound. “What I want people to take from Fantasia now is, as an artist, I’m just gonna do me, and whatever comes, comes,” she said.
“I almost lost myself and my life over [industry pressure], but I won’t do that anymore, I live life to the fullest, and as long as I can see [my kids] happy in the morning, I’m good to go.”
“Lose To Win,” which samples the Commodores’ 1985 track “Nightshift,” is the first single from Fantasia’s upcoming album, Side Effects of You. After a few delays, Fantasia’s fourth album will now be released on April 16.
