D∆WN is back with not one, but two new tracks called “Gravity” and “Cool.”
On “Gravity,” a house-influenced track, D∆WN begs gravity to be kind to her after getting her heartbroken.
“Gravity/Could you be kind/Could you me kind to me/I done been through so much sh*t /I deserve the shift,” she pleads.
On “Cool,” she expresses a different sentiment of longing for a relationship with her lover, but keeping things cool for now.
“We should be more/we should be more/but we like to keep our options open,” she sings.
D∆WN’s latest project, Redemption, is available now. It features a stellar collaboration with fellow New Orleans-bred artist PJ Morton.
