On Saturday evening, BET held its annual BET Honors at The Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C.
The night was filled with memorable performances from our favorite R&B artists who paid tribute to the 2015 honorees.
Trey Songz performed Usher’s ’90s hit single, “Nice & Slow” before the “Confessions” artist was presented with the Musical Arts award by one of his idols, Bobby Brown.
Charlie Wilson saluted Visionary Award recipient Kanye West with their GRAMMY nominated single “Bound.” Overwhelmed with joy, West jumped onstage with Wilson for an impromptu freestyle.
Later, donning a beautiful blue gown, K. Michelle performed her song “Judge Me” from her new album Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart?
Ne-Yo performed “Religious” from his forthcoming album Non-Fiction. Meanwhile, Patti LaBelle paid homage to Phylicia Rashad before she received her Theatrical Arts Award.
Mary J. Blige closed the show with “Doubt” from her album The London Sessions.
Hosted by Wayne Brady, the 2015 BET Honors will air on February 23 at 9 p.m. on BET.
