With the help of his guitar, singer -songwriter Lyfe Jennings performed a cover of Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature” at Smidi Music in Venice, California as a part of The Recording Academy’s ReImagined series.
“It was a song that I hadn’t heard anybody else redo and I felt like I could do it on a guitar,” Lyfe Jennings said.
The ReImagined performance series connects Grammy history with current artists who perform their unique interpretations of a Grammy-winning song.
“Human Nature” is a song from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” album, which earned the legend eight Grammy awards.
Lyfe Jennings also performed his new “Boomerang” single from his upcoming “Lucid” album.
The 10-track album is set to release October 8.
