Negative publicity for a celebrity has served to not only turn off fans and industry heads, but also hurt their pockets when it comes to endorsements and sponsors. Chris Brown has been among the celebrities who have gained a notorious reputation over the years, and disappointed more fans with his latest run-ins with the law.
However, the 24-year-old R&B star is not letting it deter him from moving forward. Brown recently landed a new endorsement deal with a Sprayground, a New York backpack company.
The singer, who is known for his creativity in his music, art and graffiti, is said to be collaborating with the company to create a visionary collection.
“He’s very creative on many different levels,” Creative Director David Ben David said. “He started to get into graffiti. He started to spray paint a lot, so he wanted to move his creativity to singing to now painting and drawing.”
Before entering rehab, Brown shot a promotional video for the collection in California.
Brown’s Sprayground backpacks will be available on sell next week for $100. Check out the collection on the company’s website.
