K. Michelle isn’t ready for the world to hear her new mixtape, “Still No F*cks Given.” On Wednesday morning, the “My Life” singer posted a message on Instagram announcing that her mixtape release date has been delayed.
“I’m soooo sorry y’all, but the mixtape isn’t complete yet,” she said. “These will be all brand new songs. I’ve been working hard in the studio and I still have some finishing touches to put on it, but I promise you’ll have it in the coming days. I won’t let y’all down! This is going to be a great year! Ride and grow with me like y’all always do. We’re throwing glitter in 2014! #StillNoFucksGiven”
“Still No F*cks Given” was scheduled to release today (Jan. 8). K. Michelle created the mixtape as a result of not having enough time to make her Christmas edition of “Rebellious Soul” perfect.
“I know u all wanted a Christmas Album, but I’m a perfectionist and there was just no time left in the day 4me to get it PERFECT,” said K.Michelle via Instagram. ”All of this started from one little mixtape, “0 fucks Givin”. As a special thank you, I think it’s only fair we continue this legacy. Jan 8, 2014 I will present to you “Still No Fucks Givin.”
At this time, there is not a new release date for “Still No F*cks Given.”
K. Michelle will join Robin Thicke next month on the North American leg of his “Blurred Lines Tour.” The show will kick off February 21 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Ga.
