Power couple Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are exploring a new venture and releasing a holiday children’s book.
Expect to see more than just a Christmas album on the shelves from Carey next holiday season. The Cannon’s inked a deal with Scholastic to write and publish “Roc and Roe’s Twelve Days of Christmas,” a holiday children’s picture book featuring the star’s twins.
The book’s title comes from the twins’ names, Moroccan and Monroe, and puts a twist on the classic “Twelve Days of Christmas” carol. The book will also feature illustrations by New York Times best-selling artist AG Ford.
“We are so excited to work with the Scholastic team on our Roc and Roe picture book and we can’t wait until this holiday season,” commented the couple.
“It’s been such a fun and collaborative process and we are thrilled to be working with Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey on this exciting project,” said Ken Geist, V.P. and editorial director for Scholastic Press Picture Books.
“’Roc and Roe’s Twelve Days of Christmas’ is the perfect book to read with your little ones—an adorable spin on a classic tale, sprinkled with humor and heart.”
The book is aimed at children three years and older and will be released in this year.
