The Pendulum Records artist stands firm to society’s image of a man but questions is his pride worth losing the woman he loves. The truthful track speaks to a lot of men who let their egos stand in the way displaying their true emotions to their significant other.

2013 was an incredible year for Shaliek. His single “The Past” became a top-20 hit on Urban Adult Contemporary radio and he was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2013 Rated RnB Music Awards.
He anticipates having a better year as he gets ready to drop his first studio album on April 29.
