Hit-maker Pharrell Williams continues to ride his winning streak with his latest project with the Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo.
The fashionable Virginia native has been a hot commodity for brand-name designers this year. Securing the musician’s talents, the casual wear retailer gives Williams creative control for his “i am OTHER” collection. The line will feature 26 styles and will debut in Uniqlo stores on April 14.
“My first time trying on the sample, the only thing I did the entire day was walking around showing everybody the quality of it,” says the multi-talented maestro.
Williams predicts that his new line with Uniqlo will be revolutionary and is privileged to have the opportunity to work with the unique brand. Uniqlo released a promo video featuring the 40-year-old talent magnet talking about his personal experience with the over 60-year-old brand.
Last month, Williams announced his partnership with sneaker brand Adidas, which he will design a summer shoe line.
