CHART CHECK: Usher’s ‘Good Kisser’ Makes Billboard Debut, Jason Derulo’s ‘Wiggle’ Races Up Hot 100

In this week’s Chart Check, we provide details on the current albums sales of August Alsina, Pharrell, John Legend and Ariana Grande, along with other R&B artists with albums on the Billboard 200. Also, we see where Usher’s, Tinashe’s, and Pharrell’s new singles debut at on the Hot 100 chart. In addition, check out the incredible second week position of Jason Derulo’s new single “Wiggle” on the Hot 100 chart, the new home of John Legend’s latest ballad “You & I” on the Adult R&B Songs chart and much more.

With 24,999 copies sold last week, Pharrell’s “G I R L” album remains at No. 6 this week. The album has sold a grand total of 371, 577 copies to date.

John Legend’s album “Love in the Future” falls one spot to No. 21. Combined with last week’s sales of 13,000 copies sold, his fourth album has totaled 489,000 copies since last September.

“Unorthodox Jukebox” by Bruno Mars leaps from No. 47 to No. 31. Mars’ sophomore album has sold 2,233,000 copies since its release in December 2012.

In its fourth week, August Alsina’s debut album “Testimony” rests at No. 35. The “Numb” singer’s first offering sold 8,800 last week and has pushed 108,000 album copies since its release. Meanwhile, Jason Derulo’s album “Talk Dirty” sold 8,000 copies last week and has sold only 73,000 album copies to date.

Ariana Grande’s album “Yours Truly” stands at No. 83 after holding the No. 71 position last week. Her debut LP has sold 432, 000 copies to date.

Last week, John Legend’s “All of Me” dethroned Pharrell’s “Happy” from the top spot. His efforts helped him score his first-ever No. 1 record on that chart. This week, he secures a second week atop the chart. Meanwhile, Pharrell remains “Happy” at No. 2 for week two.

After debuting at No. 3 last week, Ariana Grande’s “Problem” featuring Iggy Azalea falls one spot to No. 4.

In its second week, Jason Derulo’s Snoop Dogg assisted single “Wiggle” off his album “Talk Dirty,” soars 44 spots to No. 24.

“Love Never Felt So Good” by Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake enjoys the breeze at No. 22. The duet debuted at No. 20 last week.

Jhené Aiko’s “The Worst” stands at No. 47 this week. The song recently earned the Def Jam signee two 2014 BET Awards nominations including the Centric Award.

John Legend’s ballad “All of Me” occupies the No. 1 spot for a second week after overthrowing Pharrell’s “Happy” from its twelve week streak last week.

After debuting at No. 5 last week, “Love Never Felt So Good” by Michael Jackson remains there for a second week.

“Na Na” by Trey Songz shifts from No. 6 to No. 7 this week.

In its fourth week, Pharrell’s new track “Come Get It Bae” lifted from his “G I R L” album shifts from No. 23 to No. 14.

Sevyn Streeter’s latest single “nEXt” leans back one spot to No. 21. The song has peaked at No. 18.

John Legend’s tender ballad “All of Me” retreats two spots to No. 6. (Peak: No. 1)

In its eighth week, “Not A Bad Thing” by Justin Timberlake skips from No. 11 to No. 9. Meanwhile, Jhené Aiko’s “The Worst” takes over Timberlake’s position from last week.

Ariana Grande’s Iggy Azalea supported track “Problem” bounces eight positions to No. 16 after debuting at No. 24 last week.

“Wiggle” by Jason Derulo strolls from No. 32 to No. 24 in week two.

R&B crooner Joe’s “Love & Sex (Part 2)” featuring Kelly Rowland rises from No. 9 to No. 8.

Michael Jackson’s “Love Never Felt So Good” with Justin Timberlake dances five spots to No. 14 in its second week.

After entering at No. 26 last week, “You & I (Nobody in the World)” by John Legend climbs to No. 21.
