Ameriie finally releases the full version of her new single “What I Want” in form of a lyric video.
The new tune samples the beat to Sugar Hill Gang’s famous song “Apache (Jump On It).”
The percussion driven track, written by Ameriie and her husband Lenny Nicholson is the perfect song to listen to on a summer day. On the track, lets it be known that she isn’t the one to play games and she knows exactly who she wants.
“Let me be your one and only (That’s what I want, yeah that’s what I want)/ You don’t have to look no further (That’s what I want, yeah that’s what I want)/ No runnin’, no runnin’, no runnin'(That’s what I want, yeah that’s what I want)/ Unless I’m the only one you come running to,” Ameriie sings.
