Ledisi proves by her vocals are nothing but “The Truth.” While vacationing in New Orleans, the exceptional vocalist made her way to The French Quarter, the oldest neighborhood in the city, to perform her Grammy-nominated single “Pieces of Me” on a balcony.
Dolled up in a shoulderless black-and-white strip dress, Ledisi’s amazing vocal delivery ushered in the city’s locals and tourist to gather around the veranda to take videos in awe. She even had the crowd’s assistance as she sung the song’s closing lyrics “I’m a woman, a woman.”
In other news, Ledisi’s new single “Like This” off her new album “The Truth,” eyes the top-ten of the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart at No. 11.
