Rated Next artist Anthony Lewis supplied his music followers with a mixtape titled #TBH earlier this week.
The 8-track mixtape, named after an acronym used on social media in place for the words “to be honest,” features four original songs including “Throw It Back” and “Owe Me” featuring Compton Av. The rest of the mixtape consists of the California native singing over hit rap and R&B songs such as “No Type” by Rae Sremmurd and “Jealous” by Nick Jonas.
#TBH should hold Lewis’ fans over until he drops his debut album next year. Lewis shared with Rated RnB what he hopes to accomplish with his debut offering. “I want them to fall in love with the music, really feel it and make them feel a certain type of way,” he said. “Music brings something different to everybody and I want to contribute a feeling to the people who listen to my music. I want them to be able to relate to it.”
