After winning best original song for “Glory” from Selma at the 72nd Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, John Legend and Common release its accompanying video.
The new video features Legend in his signature role, singing behind his piano, while Common, who has a role in the film, spitting bars about civil rights struggles from the 1960’s to the more recent events in Ferguson. The roughly three-minute video is packed full of powerful scenes from the movie to pair with the powerful, and touching, vocals and lyrics about struggle and freedom from both John Legend and Common.
The moving film Selma and its soundtrack are out now.
