Trey Songz wants to make sure his Trigga Reloaded album is just right for fans. Instead of releasing his new album today, as originally scheduled, the “Na Na” singer holds fans over with an EP titled Intermission.
Consisting of six songs, the EP will serve as a musical appetizer before Songz drops his Trigga re-release on June 23.
Songz has explained his reason for the Trigga re-release. “With ‘Trigga Reloaded,’ I wanted to give records like “Slow Motion” and other records that I had no place for a home,” said Songz at an SX Liquors event. “I didn’t feel they belong on ‘Tremaine,’ and I wanted more people to hear ‘Trigga.'”
“Slow Motion,” the lead single from Trigga Reloaded, stands at No. 14 on urban radio.
