The Weeknd has premiered a visual for his new single “The Hills.”
The dark clip, directed by Grant Singer, begins with The Weeknd and a female removing themselves from a car after it crashes. While The Weeknd the mysterious female struggle to walk away the car, it explodes in flames. The Canadian singer eventually makes his way to a house where he finds an old woman and two half-dressed ladies in a bed.
The Weeknd’s previous single, “Earned It” from the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, recently peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 40 Chart. Its accompanying video also was dubbed Vevo Certified with 115 million views on YouTube.
