While his Turn The Lights On album continues to spread, Rico Love drops a new track called “Weak.” On the raw tune, Love opens up his heart as he puts his own spin of SWV’s classic song of the same tune.
“You say I should leave, you don’t mean it / Say you’re done with me, you don’t mean it / I’ll give you everything, girl I mean it / Can’t explain how your love makes me weak,” Love sings.
Toward the end of the song, Rico explains why he’s not afraid to show his vulnerable side. “The strongest thing a man can do is allow himself to be weak for somebody he loves,” he states. “So, if you going through a break up with your girl and you don’t want to sound weak, just play this song. I’ll do it for you, bro,” he continues.
