The anticipation continues to build for August Alsina’s sophomore album, This Thing Called Life. With the album set to hit stores on Dec. 11, Alsina previews a new track called “American Dream” via a trailer.
In the one-minute clip, Alsina describes all hate he received from naysayers growing up. “They told me I wouldn’t make it too far,” he sings.
This Thing Called Life will include previously heard songs “Why I Do It” and “Song Cry.”
