Drake knows how to pick out talent. The Canadian rapper has signed mysterious artist dvsn to this OVO Sound imprint, home to PARTYNEXTDOOR and Majid Jordan.
Drake’s longtime collaborator and business partner, Noah “40” Shebib, confirmed the news on Instagram on Monday, posting a photo of dvsn’s logo with the caption “@dvsndvsn @ovosound.”
There has been speculation about who dvsn is since they started releasing music last fall. With records like “Hallucinations” and “Too Deep,” many people have been wondering who the heck was behind this greatness. There have been reports stating dvsn is a duo composed of producer Nineteen85 and singer Daniel Daley.
Nineteen85 teased fans on Twitter right after the news broke that dvsn signed to OVO Sound. “The line with the two dots,” he tweeted. His Twitter bio also states, “÷ Music makes me…”
