9. Tina Knowles-Lawson Accepts on her Daughter’s behalf
While Beyoncé was en route to London for a show, her mother Tina Knowles-Lawson gladly accepted the awards for Best Video and the Viewers Choice Award on behalf of her. She did provide the audience with some down-to-Earth acceptance speeches, thanking the fans for supporting her daughter since she was 15 years old and even leaving with the gem of celebrating artists while they can “still smell the flowers.”
