Folks at MTV gave Kanye West four minutes to do whatever he wanted to do at the 2016 Video Music Awards last night. The rapper used his time to premiere his visual for “Fade,” lifted from his latest album The Life of Pablo.
Directed by Kanye and Eli Linnetz, the video stars 24-year-old singer Teyana Taylor. The steamy video, inspired by the 1983 film Flashdance, finds Taylor sweaty in a gym performing sexy choreography to the song.
From her stellar performance to her amazing post-pregnancy body, Taylor became a trending topic on Twitter.
Taylor released her debut album, VII, on Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam in 2014. She is currently working on her follow-up project.
