The Weeknd is on a roll. Just a week after premiering his new single “Starboy,” the alternative R&B artist follows-up with his accompanying visual.
Directed by Grant Singer (“Can’t Feel My Face,” “The Hills”), the dark visual finds The Weeknd visits a record company to destroy all evidence of his past — including awards and trophies — to make room for his future Starboy era.
“Starboy” is the lead single and title track to The Weeknd’s third studio album that will release on November 25 via Republic Records.
The Canadian singer will perform “Starboy” this weekend on Saturday Night Live.
