As promised, Mariah Carey has released the accompanying visual for her new kiss-off “GTFO.”
The Sarah McColgan-directed video finds the five-octave chanteuse idling around her lavish home alone in sexy lingerie. As she holds her glass of red wine and floats swiftly from room to room, Carey sings the reflective lyrics about a love that has gone wrong.
“My friends all saw it in your eyes / They told me once they told me twice,” she sings softly. “I looked beyond all the signs / I guess false love makes you blind.”
“GTFO” is just a sample off her what next’s to come from Mimi. “With You,” her official lead single from her 15th studio album, is slated to arrive on October 5 along with its corresponding video.
