Faith Evans was crowned Lady of Soul at the 2018 Soul Train Awards on Sunday night (Nov. 25). Ahead of claiming her award, which was presented by her husband Stevie J, Evans watched a three-minute video of her two-decade career that featured commentary from Missy Elliott, Al B. Sure!, and Karen Clark Sheard.

Evans accepted her award with many thanks to God, her family, industry and career-long friends and her Faithfuls.

Following her acceptance speech, Evans performed a medley of her biggest hits including “Soon As I Get Home,” “You Used to Love Me,” “You Gets No Love” and “Love Like This.” Carl Thomas joined her on stage to perform “Can’t Believe,” which appears on her third album, Faithfully.

Evans along with her husband chatted with K. Michelle on the Soul Train Awards post-show. K and Evans are working on a duet.
