The nominations for the 2019 BET Awards have been revealed. Beyoncé tops the list with four nominations, including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Best Group (The Carters), Video of the Year (“APESHIT “) and Album of the Year (Everything is Love).
H.E.R., Ella Mai, and Childish Gambino tie in second place with three nods apiece. H.E.R. and Mai are up for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, while Gambino is among the five Best Male R&B/Pop Artist finalists.
Teyana Taylor receives her first set of nominations, landing BET HER Award (“Rose in Harlem”) and Best Female R&B/Pop Artist.
The 2019 BET Awards will air live on Sunday, June 23 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. on BET.
