Chanté Moore is done with teasing. The R&B veteran is back with a new single that’s sure to give you feels.
“Fresh Love” is an impassioned selection that lives up to the romantic story lines of her previous hits. Her well-aged voice sounds beautiful here as she sings about falling quick for a new suitor.
“Baby, I don’t know where we’re going / But, I’m going there with you,” she vocalizes over the light and fluttery backdrop. “Even though our love is still young, my heart got me feeling like I been knowing you.”
Moore doesn’t just bless us with the love song. She dresses it up with an intimate music video that features her and her love interest spending quality time together. Her son KJ Lattimore makes a special cameo in the video with his own date.
“Fresh Love” foreshadows a new era for Moore. The seasoned vocalist released a four-track EP titled 1 of 4 last spring, and promised three additional EPs. This new record could a part of the second installment or her next studio album.
Moore’s last full-length album The Rise of the Phoenix came out in fall 2017. It include the single “Real One,” which peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart.
