Three cheers for Fantasia.
The Grammy winner’s latest album, Sketchbook, has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard R&B Album Sales chart, with 10,000 equivalent album units in its first week of sales.
Sketchbook draws up Fantasia’s third chart-topper on this chart, as well as her first independent album to earn this achievement.
On the strength of her top-five R&B hit “Enough,” the album also debuted at No. 5 on the Top R&B Albums and Independent Albums chart. It also opened at No. 62 on the Billboard 200.
Fantasia, who just released energetic video for “Bad Girl,” is currently on a nationwide tour in support of the album.
Robin Thicke, The Bonfyre and Tank are special guests for the run.
