A year after releasing his acclaimed debut album Painted, Lucky Daye breaks out the touch-up paint and re-releases the masterpiece in deluxe form.
The expanded edition of Painted includes the extended version of “Ready For Love,” along with four other previously-released tracks, including “Buying Time” and “Shoulda” featuring Babyface.
The reissue contains Daye’s contributions to The Photograph (“Fade Away”) and season three of HBO’s Insecure (“Little More Time” with Victoria Monét).
It also comes with a live version of “Misunderstood” that was taken from a New Orleans performance.
Daye teased on Instagram earlier this week that he will be showering his fans with music projects. It’s safe to say that this exciting re-release is one of them.
