Singer-songwriter Gene Noble has released a visual for his latest single “Matching Tattoos.”
The video was directed by Eric Lovett, Jr., and co-stars Rezina Brutus-Foulkes (Zina the tattoo artist) and Brigitte Madera (tattoo shop patron).
“’Matching Tattoos’ is a reflective moment where you realize you dodged a bullet by not being tied to that relationship with a physical reminder while at the same time revealing some of the emotional ties that still exist,” Noble explained. “It’s asking a question to your ex, but also not clarifying whether or not you’re happy about it.”
“Matching Tattoos” is the first offering from Noble’s upcoming project, which will release on Hidden Beach Recordings.
