Brent Faiyaz leans into his more delicate side on his new single “Show U Off.” In honor of Women’s History Month, the song is an ode to the women in his life.
He lovingly sings on the second verse, “Who’s gonna call you baby / And never make you feel small / Who’s gonna love you crazy / And never gonna let you fall / Honey, you ain’t looking / But if you’re looking / Then look no further / Because you’re worth it girl / I got all this love for you / Cause you deserve it / You’re Black and perfect.”
“Show U Off” comes with a beautiful visual as well, directed by Mikayla Gamble. Shot in South Carolina, the video serves as a love letter to Black women.
The Columbia, Maryland native has hit 2021 with full force, as he has released music every month of the year thus far.
