Muni Long keeps her body count a secret from her prying man on her brand new track, “Bodies,” produced by Tricky Stewart and Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman. It also arrives with a supporting music video, which can be viewed above.
A nod to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s classic “The Crossroads,” the acclaimed singer-songwriter sings melodically over a snapping, nostalgic backbeat about keeping the skeletons of her sex-positive past locked in her closet.
Rather than spilling her guts out to her man about what she did years ago, with men that didn’t mean anything, she wants to keep it to herself. As hard as it is, Long’s lips are sealed.
“Bodies” follows Long’s Sukihana-assisted track “Thot Thoughts,” which she released last month. She properly introduced her moniker in November 2020, when she debuted her project Black Like This.
The admired project features fan-favorites “Polaroid” and “Midnight Snack” featuring Jacob Latimore.
