A new Victoria Monét album is officially on the way. The Grammy-winning singer and songwriter has revealed her sophomore LP, Frequency Of Love, is set to be released this fall.

In a social media post, she confirmed her next project will arrive Oct. 2 via Lovett Music/RCA Records.

“Frequency Of Love 10.2.26,” Monét wrote on Instagram, while unveiling the cover art. The sepia-toned artwork features Monét seductively lying on a floor, wearing nothing but her birthday suit and statement jewelry.

According to Apple Music’s presave, Frequency Of Love will feature 22 tracks, including the No. 1 R&B radio hit “Let Me” and the latest offering, “Reach Out,” available today. The latter song was co-produced by her frequent collaborators D’Mile and Kaytranada.

On “Reach Out,” Monét’s silky vocals glide over the strutting production with sheer elegance and confidence, as she urges a love interest to make their fleeting connection a permanent one.” ‘Cause we know that every summer miss each other / I forever wanna be your lover,” she sings.

“Reach Out” is accompanied by a music video directed by Dave Meyers and choreographed by Sean Bankhead. The video bridges high fashion looks with fierce choreography that propels Monét to another stratosphere. It only fuels more excitement for the world she’s building beyond the jungle — one that already signals she’s leaning fully into her artistic evolution and not looking back.

Frequency Of Love will follow 2024’s Jaguar II: Deluxe, an expanded edition of her Grammy-winning album released in 2023. In an exclusive interview with Rated R&B earlier this year, producer Camper teased Monét’s upcoming album that he executive-produced, calling it “greatness.”

“This is probably going to go down as one of my best bodies of work,” Camper said. “That’s how I feel. It was so easy for us to connect and go to that next level. The last five months, I’ve been going crazy with her. I’m happy I get to share how I feel sonically with her, and she can receive it, and vice versa.”

Last year, Monét hinted at the sonic direction of her next album in a sit-down on WNBA player Angel Reese’s Unapologetically Angel podcast. “This album that I’m working on right now is so, so R&B,” she said. “Jaguar II was R&B, but it was set in the era of the ‘70s. This feels more like ‘90s R&B.”

Monét is currently supporting Bruno Mars on The Romantic Tour in Europe. She joined him on the road in mid-June and will close out her final three shows at Wembley Stadium in London.

Frequency Of Love is available for presale and preorder. The album will be released digitally as well as on vinyl and CD, with a limited number of signed copies for the latter two formats.
