Josh Levi celebrates his recent signing to Issa Rae’s Raedio and Atlantic Records by releasing the new song “NASA” and its video.
Levi shows his toxic, displaced female company in the new song what it truly means to live amongst the stars, singing, “I love it when you contemplate / I love it when you tell friends about me / I love it when you missin’ me / I love it when it post shit about me.”
The Loris Russier-directed video instantly puts you in the mind of classic ’90s R&B and hip-hop videos fronted by artists like Usher, Missy Elliott, and Busta Rhymes. Watch it below.
Along with his new song and video, Levi debuted episode one of his new docu-series BACKSTAGE.
Last year, the Houston native and former season three X-Factor finalist issued his debut EP DISC ONE. He is working on a follow-up release slated for a digital drop this fall.
