Fantasia has premiered her new single “Without Me,” featuring Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott.
The Harmony Samuels-produced song comes from Fantasia’s upcoming album, Side Effects of You, in stores April 23.
On the mid-tempo cut, Fantasia gives her man — who is acting brand new — a reality check.
“You really gonna make me expose you for exactly what you are / And I’m feeling a little wavy / So right now I don’t mind pulling your card,” Fantasia sings.
Rowland appears in verse two, singing, “You tell me that you make big moves / But tell ’em what you really do / Do you really wanna play this game?”
Elliott lets off a fiery rap in verse three: “Boy, you get the deuces (Mm) / I’m sick of yo’ excuses / Without me how can you do it? (Woo) / Do bad all by myself / N***a, yo’ d**k useless (Let’s go) / Dude, I don’t need yo’ sex (Yo’ sex) / I’m movin’ to the next (The next).”
