Exactly one month ago, Ashanti released her single “Never Should Have.” Today, the R&B singer-songwriter brings us the accompanying visuals for the emotional ballad.
Directed by Sanji, the video shows different couples dealing with breakup and heartbreak. We see an emotional Ashanti, wearing a beautiful dress, belting the words to drum-driven tune.
“Never Should Have” is the second single from Ashanti’s upcoming album, BraveHeart. Although her singles — “Never Should Have” and “The Woman You Love” — have yet to appear on the Billboard charts, Ashanti still plans on dropping BraveHeart on June 11.
