While in Washington, D.C., Kelly Rowland visited 93.9 WKYS to chop it up with Urban Informer. During the interview, Rowland dished her new gig as a judge on “The X-Factor,” making her schedule fit to promote the new album, and becoming confident with her sexuality. She also talked about the connection between Destiny’s Child song “Girl” and her new song “You’ve Changed,” featuring Beyonce and Michelle Williams

The album takes you on a journey through my thoughts. It’s me being very open…which for a second, was a little hard on certain songs. I remember for “Dirty Laundry”, I was saying I didn’t want to put that on the album. It was a form of therapy. You’re supposed to grow and learn from it.
