Queen Naija has released a new heartfelt song, “Straight Outta Heaven.”

The acoustic track, produced by Mike Woods, is a stirring love letter to the singer’s two sons.

“I promise to try my best not to fail you / No matter the time, I’ll be there to help you / And I’ll give it all for you, no question / What did I do to deserve this blessing? / Angel of mine, straight outta heaven,” Naija sings.

Naija’s youngest son appears at the end of the song with a sweet message for “the best mommy in the whole wide world.”

Speaking on “Straight Outta Heaven,” Naija explains, “To me, this song feels like a sequel to ‘Mama’s Hand,’ which was written for my firstborn son.”

She adds, “When I became pregnant with my 2nd born, I worried how I would be able to split my love in half, which is something I know many mothers can identify with. That feeling led me to creating ‘Straight Outta Heaven.’ There are no instructions that come with how to do this #momlife, but all of us are just trying our best.”

“Straight Outta Heaven” is Naija’s third single of 2024, following “Good Girls Finish Last” and “Missing You.”

“Good Girls Finish Last” debuted on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart in late September, earning Naija her first entry in two years. Last week, the Cardiak and Wu10-produced track entered the top 10 on the chart.

“Missing You,” also produced by Mike Woods, along with OG Parker and G. Ry, is a tribute to her late friend and bodyguard, Beast, who passed away in 2022.

In November 2023, Naija released her After the Butterflies EP, which featured Monica, Ella Mai, Eric Bellinger, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again.
