Billboard 200
The Weeknd’s first album “Kiss Land” debuted at No.2, selling 95,492 units in its first week of sales.
Janelle Monáe’s sophomore album “The Electric Lady” debuted at No.5, pushing 47,147 copies.
Last week Tamar Braxton and Ariana Grande debuted atop the Billboard 200 but saw a slight decline in sales. Braxton’s “Love and War” fell from No.2 to No.8. Grande’s “Yours Truly” went from No.1 to No.9.
John Legend’s latest effort “Love in the Future” debuted at No.4 last week. However, this week, it fell to No.10 while Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” dropped from No.7 to No.14.
After opening at No.6, Jaheim’s “Appreciation Day,” fell to No.17 . TGT’s (Tyrese, Ginuwine, Tank) “Three Kings” dropped from No.21 to No.29.

Robin Thicke’s hit single “Blurred Lines” may have lost its number one spot on the chart but he still remains in the top 5. The song is No.4 this week after dropping from No.2. However, his latest track “Give It 2 U” rises from No.31 to No.28.
Chris Brown’s Nicki Minaj-assisted single “Love More”” remains at No.39. “Baby I” by Ariana Grande jumped from No.94 to No.60. The song has spent three weeks on the chart.
Justin Timberlake’s “Take Back The Night” has been a moderate hit. Since its release, it has only peaked at No. 29. The Timbaland produced track is now No.62.
After debuting at No.85, New Orleans native August Alsina’s “I Luv This Sh*t” jumped seven spots to No.78.
Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs
It’s been seven years since Mary J.Blige’s reign atop the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart with “Be Without You.” The song spent 15 consecutive weeks at No.1 and remained on the chart for 75 weeks. However, the record has now been tied by Robin Thicke and his summer hit “Blurred Lines.”
Chris Brown made his way to the top 10 with “Love More,” moving from No.11 to No.9. The song has been on the chart for eight weeks.
August Alsina moved from No.26 to No.28 with “I Luv This Sh*T.” K.Michelle move one spot with “V.S.O.P” from No.34 to No.33.

John Legend’s success entering the top 10 last week with “All of Me” was short-lived as the song has fallen back to No.14.
