Fantasia is taking her acting career seriously in the Broadway play “After Midnight.”
In a sneak peek clip of the Langston Hughes inspired production, Fantasia is all gussied up in her top hat and flashy dress as she channels her inner jazz sound.
While the vocal acrobat doesn’t seem to have a problem scatting and singing the blues, she states she had a bit of an issue learning the vocabulary of the jazz.
However, she realizes the challenge with the notes but continues to perfect her craft due to the respect she has for the early pioneers of jazz.
