In September, Mariah Carey was spotted in the studio with Queens MC, Nas. Many speculated if the two were cooking up a new collaboration for either Carey’s new album or Nas’ new album.
Now the “#Beautiful” songbird and her new manager, Jermaine Dupri tell MTV News a few details about the unfinished track. “We have yet to finish our collaboration,” said Carey.
Nonetheless, Dupri promises the untitled tune will deliver. “It’s gonna’ be dope I can tell you that.”
Carey adds the song is “one of people’s favorite records” even though it isn’t finished yet.
On “The Art of Letting Go,” the “Candy Bling” songstress has worked with producers like Mike Will and Hit Boy. She describes the different textures of production and lyrical content will give fans an “intense feeling.”
