After delaying their collaborative album until next year, R&B hitmakers Toni Braxton and Babyface are helping fans bring in the season with their holiday duet on the classic Christmas standard, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”
Their vocal talent is incomparable as the two play a former couple who reconnects over the phone during the holiday season.
Braxton recorded a solo cover of the Christmas classic back in 2001 with her “Snowflakes” Christmas album, but the 2013 cooing duet with the producer brings a warmth that couples and old flames will enjoy.
The duet gives fans a taste of the two together, and readies fans for their “Love, Marriage & Divorce” LP, which is due next year on February 4–just in time for Valentine’s Day. Braxton and Babyface have recently released a single from the LP called “Hurt You.”
The pair will be performing “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” together in L.A. at The Grove’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday.
