R&B singers Tyrese Gibson, Jacob Latimore and Luke James of the upcoming musical drama film, “Black Nativity,” stopped by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club to chat with radio hosts Angela Yee, DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God about the highly-anticipated film, working with the star-studded cast of the movie and, of course, music .
The cast of the film, written and directed by Kasi Lemmons, includes a cast from stars in various genres with Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, Tyrese Gibson, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Jacob Latimore, Luke James, Vondie Curtis-Hall, and Nas.
“It’s a holiday movie,” Tyrese said, describing the overall feel of the film. “One of them real, family, feel good, make you feel fuzzy inside movies.”
“Black Nativity” will be released in theaters on November 27, right in time for Thanksgiving to bring in the holiday spirit.
