Ashanti’s fan have been waiting years for her new album “Braveheart” to drop — literally. However, the Grammy award winning singer offers an explanation to her fans, which assures them that she’s not sitting around twiddling her thumbs.
Hip Hollywood recently caught up with the occasional actress to get clarity on her delay. “I wanted it to be right,” said Ashanti. “It’s been so long it doesn’t make sense to put it out after all this time and you’re not happy completely with it.”
“Braveheart,” which was supposed to drop in 2012 is now set to release in early 2014 via her record label Written Entertainment. Ashanti recently shared her new single “I Got It” featuring Rick Ross.
