After reigning atop the Urban Adult Contemporary chart with “Blurred Lines,” Robin Thicke notches his second No.1 of his “Blurred Lines” era with “4 The Rest of the My Life.” His love struck jam and the second single off his Grammy nominated album “Blurred Lines” has climb from No.2 to No.1 this week.
Thicke’s romantic ballad blew smoke in the face of Toni Braxton and Babyface’s “Hurt You” and stomped their duet from its No.1 position.
Even without heavy promotion or an accompanying video, “4 The Rest of My Life” has reached nearly 1,600 radio spins since debuting in the top 50 at No.31. (May. 22). It has peaked No.39 on Urban radio, spinning nearly 430 radio spins.
