Actress/singer Tatyana Ali may be an independent artist but she’s making major moves. Best known for her role as Ashley Banks on the hit sit-com “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” Ali visited The Arsenio Hall Show to promote her “Hello” EP.
Rocking white pants and a black top, Ali performed her groovy new single “Wait For It,” which is lifted from “Hello.” Ali proved her talent by opting to sing live with background singers and a band.
“Hello” marks Ali’s first music project since her “Kiss the Sky” album that was released in 1998. Ali also released a short film to accompany her EP, which is available now.
Ali also chatted with Arsenio Hall before taking the stage. During the interview, Ali talked about being an independent artist, her role on “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and the legacy of the late James Avery (Uncle Phil from “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”).
